Our District’s mission is “Provide fire suppression services and emergency medical services for the protection of life and property in and around our district” serves as the foundation as we go about our daily responsibilities of providing response to medical aid calls, structure fires, automobile accidents, wildlands fires, water and ice rescue, fire inspections and prevention through public education.

Chelan County PUD’s all-new Discovery Center at Rocky Reach Dam is open Tuesday through Sunday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Join us for free, hands-on exhibits and edu-tainment. Fun for all ages!

Adjacent to the Discovery Center and powerhouse are 17 acres of award-winning lawns and gardens, playground equipment, picnic shelters, arboretum, turbine exhibit, horseshoe pits and pergola. Fun awaits!

The Chelan Valley Republican Women is a non-profit organization in the Lake Chelan Valley. Our chapter was re-established in January 2022. We have had a host of great speakers and are contributing to our community through the Caring for America Project. We are growing rapidly and are looking forward to hosting several Meet and Greet events for local, state and federal candidates. The first Manson Apple Blossom Festival was held on Wednesday, May 11, 1921. The first royalty queen of the festival was Ruby Phelps in 1928. 1947's Manson Apple Blossom Festival was special for two main reasons. The Festival was moved to Saturday and the first parade was held that year. The parade route was uphill, from west to east. The first Manson Apple Blossom Festival button was added in 1949.
